GREEN IT CHARITABLE SOCIETY is a non-governmental organization that aims at maximizing the social impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) through a holistic approach.

ACTIVITIES

Some of the areas of activities of GREEN IT include;

* Design, develop and implement socially relevant ICT interventions for the benefit of the common man in the society.

* Encourage and catalyze the implementation of ICT based information networks, e-governance initiatives among various sections of the society.

* Encourage and promote Social Entrepreneurship through effective use of ICT

* Organize or promote conferences, workshops, seminars, courses, tutorials and exhibitions in the area of Information and Communication Technologies for Social development.

* Undertake, aid and promote publications of papers, journals, books, web sites, web portals etc. on ICT and its applications to strengthen the society and to sponsor specific and relevant research projects.

GREEN IT aims to  promote 100% unpaid blood donation in the State of Kerala in tune with the National Blood Policy of India.
